There have been many faces of Nancy Drew on-screen through the years: Bonita Granville in the ’30s, Pamela Sue Martin and Janet Louise Johnson in the ’70s, Tracy Ryan in the ’90s, Maggie Lawson earlier in this decade, and now Emma Roberts in the new film “Nancy Drew.” In the June 10 edition of The Washington Post, I look at past portrayals of the sleuthing icon, and see what’s become of the actresses who’ve tackled the role.
